Welcome to Northern Arizona University

Welcome to the 2005-2006 NAU Academic Catalog, which provides the basic information you need to enroll in and pursue a program of study at Northern Arizona University.

In addition to the useful information about NAU's majors, minors, and certificates, the Academic Catalog also lets you know the requirements you must meet and the many services we offer to support you as a student at NAU. Please click on the Table of Contents to see all that's included in this catalog.

We have also provided some helpful information about searching in the Academic Catalog and Hints for Navigating.

The Introduction provides general information and links for more information about NAU, Flagstaff, and Northern Arizona, general interests, and how you can get started at NAU.

For each academic subject, we provide general information about the department, the degrees offered, the courses, and faculty.  You will find all academic subjects listed under NAU's Academic Plans in the Table of Contents to the left on your desktop.

If you are uncertain where to find specific information, click on the Search button above and type in keywords.

Academic programs may be accessed from the Table of Contents or the academic subject department page.

Courses and faculty may be accessed from the Table of Contents or any of the department or degree pages.
