About Distance Learning

Northern Arizona University Distance Learning

Northern Arizona University Distance Learning (NAU DL) has been providing education opportunities to students for more than 30 years and now serves nearly 8,000 students across Arizona and beyond.

With more than 120 degree and certificate programs at 38 in-person campuses across the state and on our online community, you can pursue an undergraduate or advanced degree that fits within your lifestyle and schedule.

Some of the top reasons students enjoy taking classes through NAU DL is its convenience and flexibility. They like the small classroom sizes. Students also say they enjoy building strong, accessible relationships with NAUís dedicated instructors. Plus, students take pride in receiving the same highly-respected degree they would if they attended NAUís campus in Flagstaff.

With classroom-based sites located across the state, as well on every Maricopa Community College campus in metro Phoenix and at Pima Community College campuses in Tucson, you are never too far to benefit from receiving your education in-person at one of NAUís statewide campuses.

Students can also complete degree programs through online learning. Receive instruction from the same dedicated staff members who teach on the Flagstaff campus, as well as those who teach at our statewide campuses. NAUís online learning community will provide you the flexibility to complete a bachelorís or masterís degree or certificate within the framework of your career or family schedule.

In many cases, you can combine online and in-person classes so you realize the fullest flexibility of your program.
