Ed.D. Curriculum and Instruction

This degree is appropriate if you are seeking advanced preparation in teaching and curriculum and wish to prepare for professional participation in public and private schools, community colleges, and government and other agencies.  


For this 90-unit program, which involves completing a dissertation, you take:  

(These must include courses in foundational/theoretical/philosophical perspectives, research methodology, and new developments.)  

(We recommend that this course be outside your focus area.)  

(Please note that you may end up taking more than 9 units of dissertation credit because you must register for ECI 799 each semester while working on your dissertation.)
