For this 42-unit program, which involves completing an internship with an internship paper that you successfully defend, you take:
27 units of core requirements:
ANT 524, 600, 603, 607, 608 (6 hrs.), 609, 635, and 636
3 units in any ANT course offered outside the subfield of archaeology
12 units in an archaeological theme, with the relevant coursework selected from departmental offerings and appropriate-level courses outside the department, with your adviser's guidance
(Suggested themes include cultural resource management, quantitative methods and/or computer analysis, materials analysis, environmental studies, diet and subsistence, Quaternary sciences, public archaeology, historic archaeology, and ethnography.)
