Early in 2018, the NTAA Executive Committee met with U.S. EPA Assistant Administrator Bill Wehrum and learned about the Office of Air and Radiation’s key air quality priorities for the coming year.

In preparation for these priorities shifting into modified policies, NTAA has prepared the below fact sheets to help Tribes understand these important air quality policies that will most likely be, and in some cases are, being modified.

The EPA has identified and characterized significant risks to public health from indoor environmental contaminants that are commonly found in homes, schools and offices, where Americans spend up to 90 percent of their time!
This fact sheet witl help broaden the understanding of this new effort to improve indoor air quality in Indian Country. NTAA has created a brief summary sheet for EPA's Clean Power Plan Supplemental Proposal. We strongly encourage Tribes to submit comments on this proposal. For additional information on the Supplemental Proposal, visit: https://archive.epa.gov/epa/cleanpowerplan/fact-sheet-clean-power-plan-supplemental-proposal.html.

NTAA is pleased to provide fact sheets on a variety of air quality topics tailored to Tribes throughout all regions of the U.S.
