But the latest report compiled by Kathmandu-based International Centre for Integrated Mountain Development (ICIMOD) - 'Role of Policy and Institutions in Local Adaptation to Climate Change' have found that indigenous coping strategies of local communities are increasingly proving to be ineffective in dealing with floods.
