The community of Point Hope is located at the westernmost point on the northwest Alaska coast. Life in Point Hope revolves around the harvest of sea mammals: walrus, seal, and whale. Climate change is increasing the risk of injury, interfering with the harvest of traditional foods, altering water quality, and decreasing food security.
