Description:
EPA issued a statement on July 1, 2011 that wastewater treatment plants and other stationary sources will not have to seek greenhouse gas permits for at least three years. EPA announced that more time is needed to determine how to measure the carbon dioxide emitted by new or modified facilities that have biological decomposition of waste or that burn biogas that they collect.
