The California Climate Adaptation Planning Guide (APG) provides guidance in the form of a decision-making framework intended for use by local and regional stakeholders to aid in the interpretation of climate science, and to develop a systematic rationale for reducing risks caused, or exacerbated, by climate change. The guide was developed cooperatively by the California Natural Resources Agency, California Emergency Management Agency, with support from California Polytechnic State University - San Luis Obispo, and with funding through the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and the California Energy Commission.
