The Midnite Mine Superfund Site is located on the Spokane Reservation in
Washington. Mining activities were conducted adjacent to the surface waters of the Blue Creek and Lake Roosevelt. The community traditionally uses river waters and wetland areas for cultural and ceremonial practices.
- The Spokane signed a MOA with the USEPA regarding CERCLA activities on the Midnite Mine Superfund Site.
