The Arsenic Trioxide Superfund Site is located in Southeast North Dakota on
the Lake Traverse Reservation. Heavy pesticide use was done on the northern
ancestral lands of the Sisseton Wahpeton Oyate Nation. The community traditionally uses lands & wetland areas for subsistence, cultural & ceremonial practices.
