Group Search - Help

Basic search allows you to search for groups at NAU by name.

The asterisk (*) may be used as a "wild card" when searching for a group name. The asterisk matches any number of characters. For example, if you search for the name "org*owner", the search results may include names such as "Organization Owners", "Organization Owners Email Only", etc.

The "List Groups I Own" option shows all of the groups for which you are the owner. 

The "List My Group Memberships" option shows all of the groups in which you are a member. 

You will see the "Edit" link on the Group Search Results page for all of the groups you own or are allowed to edit.

Advanced search allows you to search for groups by name, description, owner (person or group), original group creator, member (person or group), and group id.

For example, if you search for the description "who*org", the search results may include descriptions such as "People who can do anything with any organization", "People who are owners of an organization", etc.

The search filter "and's" the search criteria together so the result must meet all of the criteria entered.
