Lesson Description:
This lesson can be used with any grade level and learning abilities with modifications. I will be using this unit with 7th graders. Since Thanksgiving is approaching, having students listen to stories,
brainstorm ideas and write, is a great activity during this time of year. Students will have the opportunity to write what they think "being thankful" is all about. In Language Arts class,
whenever the opportunity arises, students write and read which is an essential element to the success of each individual. This gives students the freedom to express themselves through writing and learn how to
communicate with others in their lifetime.
