This lesson will provide students with important dates pertaining to the history of the Oregon Trail, as well as knowledge of the pioneers'daily life experiences. Besides learning about the pioneers'
daily hardships, the students will also become familiar with the geography between Missouri and Iowa in the Midwest, and Utah, Oregon, and California in the West Coast. This lesson incorporates social
studies, language arts, and reading. It can be used for grades 6-8.
