Introduction: This lesson will help students become aware of their cultures. It also will help students realize how their cultures have contributed to making America what it is today.
Behavioral Objectives: The main objective of this lesson is for students to become knowledgeable of their own cultural backgrounds..
The students will be able to: 1. Verbally identify 5 aspects
of their own culture and tradition (heritage) with 80% accuracy. 2. Identify 5 cultural aspects of other populations that have shaped our Nation with 80% accuracy.
3. Write and illustrate aspects of their own cultural traditions with 80% accuracy.
