Introduction
The entries in this section are provided for two purposes. One is to remind indigenous educators of some of the basic elements of the pedagogy which is unique to their traditional
educational processes and points of view. The second purpose is to provide non-indigenous educators with some perspective on the different world views which provide the foundation
for traditional indigenous education. While only some of the school garden curricula offered or referenced on this web site were developed for indigenous schools, we believe all
gardener-educators can benefit from taking time to compare different perspectives on the role of school garden curricula.
