Hello, my name is Andria "Andi" Greene! I am a wetlands and water scientist who spent a decade away from my home near the Chesapeake Bay, Virginia, obtaining a bachelor’s and master’s in science.
I was a first-generation student, who taught and conducted research in the field of hydrology to university students prior to my current role. Now, I am the Environmental Director for the Upper
Mattaponi Tribe and serve the first people of Tsenacommacah. As a Mixed American who grew up playing in the marshes of this shared homeland, I take an equity-based approach in conducting research
on the sacred natural resource of water within communities who need it the most.
Andi can be reached by e-mail at andria.greene@umitribe.gov.
