Memorandum of Understanding (MOUs) & Memorandum of Agreement (MOAs)
Memorandum of Understanding (MOUs) & Memorandum of Agreement (MOAs) are formal agreement between two or more parties. Companies, organizations, and governments
can use MOUs to establish official partnerships. These documents are not legally binding but they carry a degree of seriousness and mutual respect.
The documents listed below are listed by the name of the site used in the document itself (not always the official name of the Superfund site). Below this list of
documents you will see two templates that can be used as guidance for creating your own MOU or MOA. These are only to be used as guidance. More examples can be
found by doing an online search.
