VW Settlement Technical Assistance Program:

ITEP has been selected as the Technical Assistance Provider for Tribes to access funds from the VW settlement’s $55 million Indian Tribe Trust. The second funding cycle is now open. Funding can be used by federally recognized Tribes to replace old, polluting diesel vehicles or equipment with new, cleaner models. ITEP can help Tribes navigate the process of becoming certified as a beneficiary of the Trust and preparing plans for projects under the Modified Trust Agreement.
