IAQTC: Indoor Air Quality in Tribal Communities

The Arizona American Indian Asthma Coalition presents an Arizona American Indian Air Quality and Asthma Triggers Conference, which will be held at Northern Arizona University.

Native American and Alaskan Native asthma rates are almost double the national average. Asthma is a major crossroads of Arizona tribal health and environmental concerns. Join us to discuss how to take steps now to improve the health and well-being of your community.

Plenary Sessions:
Achieving "Asthma-Friendly" indoor environments in homes and schools. Learn about the connections between health and environment (indoor and outdoor).

Breakout Sessions:
Share ideas for addressing asthma issues. Develop community partnerships to address asthma issues, including healthy schools, healthy homes, and healthy communities.

There will be information tables with educational materials that will help you share information with your communities.
