Marissa Adams
Marissa Adams was born and raised on the Hopi Reservation. She is a member of the Hopi tribe and is Fire Clan from the village of Sichomovi. For the past 13 years, her focus has been to improve the health of underserved indigenous populations by providing
the necessary resources for them.
Marissa holds a Bachelors in Community Health with an emphasis in Applied Indigenous Health from Northern Arizona University. She currently serves as the Program Coordinator, SR for the Institute of Tribal Environmental Professionals (ITEP), American
Indian Air Quality Training Program (AIAQTP). In her spare time you can find Marissa playing and supporting her three daughters, tending to cultural responsibilities, exploring the outdoors and baking.
